The Board of Directors seeks York Manor residents to assist with many activities — programs and projects to which you can give time to help us fulfill our promise inform and engage our neighbors. there are multiple ways to get involved falling into two levels of commitment: Volunteer Committees, and Board Leadership.
When you join a Volunteer Committee, you occasionally assist the Board with projects. This level of involvement is a way to help that can put your skills and experience to use. Our communications, social, and membership committees are currently recruiting volunteers. We also need help with covering all the county, regional and local informational meetings that keep the community up to date on developments that could improve or affect our way of life. The commitments described above usually take 2-3 hours/month.
As a member of our Board, you are committing to a leadership role representing our community. The current Board of Directors, wholly comprised of volunteers, puts in more time (10+ hours/month) to lead strategic activity, manage finances, and make decisions about homeowner improvements that are in keeping with neighborhood covenants. We are currently recruiting residents of York Manor to join the board and contribute to our future success.
